Welcome to our new site!

Welcome to the new virtual home of Mock Orange Bikes! We’ve been working hard on the new site for several weeks now and are excited to unveil the new format to you all. We think this is a pretty good representation of what goes on around the shop and how we portray ourselves as a unique local bike shop. While you’re here, be sure to check out our new Bikes and Products pages, as well as our now fully published labor rates under the Service menu. Shoot, we even updated our “Bios” page! Definitely let us know what you think and if there’s anything else you would like to see; more photos, less photos, more content etc…. we’re always open to suggestions. So take a look around and enjoy!

Kona!

The staff at Mock Orange Bikes are huge fans of Kona bikes. The reasons are many, but one of the main ones is that Kona understands that going for a bike ride is one of life's simple pleasures. Keeping this virtue in mind, Kona has many value driven offerings that perform every bit as well as the higher priced models out there. While there are bikes that meet this criteria in many categories of Kona's line-up, perhaps the best example of this ethos is in the Backcountry Hardtail series. Lazer Helmets!

Mock Orange is now a proud dealer of Lazer Helmets. These helmets, born in cycling crazy Belgium, offer a retention system called "Rollsys" that encompasses the entirety of the helmet and makes for the best fit out there. Combine that with light weight and great ventilation and you have a superb, well fitting helmet! Ask any member of the Mock Orange Pro 1/2 Cycling Team how they like em and you'll be sure to get a wave of positive feedback.

Map My Ride!

As a push to really find some quality rides in an around the Winston-Salem Area we have now started a Map My Ride group. On our home page you will find a list of great rides that all leave from the shop. Many of these will be used for our Saturday morning road rides as well. Check it out and let us know what you think. Demo Bikes For Sale!

We wanted to let everyone know we currently have a couple models of 2009 Kona Demo bikes available for sale. We have a 19" Kona Big Kahuna 29er, a 17 inch Coilair for the gravity freaks as well as a great all mountain bike, a 19 inch Dawg Deluxe. All of these demo bikes are marked down 15% from their original retail price and most of them only have a few hours of riding on them. Of course these guys are still available to demo out for a day or two, but we figured we'd let you in on the special demo pricing before they're gone.
