2012 Team Mountain Khakis/SmartStop Presentation and Reception

Wednesday, March 7 is going to be a great day here at Mock Orange! The day will revolve around The Team Mountain Khakis/SmartStop Professional Cycling Team. Mock Orange Bikes is once again pleased and proud to be the team's official shop sponsor. As the day falls in the middle of the team's 2012 training camp, there will be an open-to-the-community bike ride leaving the shop at 10 am.  Come and join the team for all or some of the famed "Triple Hump" ride.  The team's full roster will be on hand and the team's staff will support the ride.  For those who cannot make the ride come join us at the shop at 7pm to meet the team at the 2012 Rider Presentation and Reception.  Refreshments will be provided as the team introduces it's riders, staff and sponsors.  In addition, the defending 2011 USA Crits Series Individual and Team Champions will share the team's lofty goals for 2012!  Don't miss a full day of fun with the team on and off the bikes!

  1. I'm interested in coming out for the ride if I'm back in town. What kind of ride will it be (approx. dist., pace, etc) ? I'm not familiar with the 'Triple Hump' ride.
    Thanks for any info.

  3. Congratulations on the Mountain Khakis deal (I have two pair).. The Orbea Marmolada I bought in Mocksville in 2005 is still going. Added centaur compact. Crank, Chorus front derailleur, Veloce brakes, 29T Veloce cassette since relplaced by 32T IRD cassette. Vento wheels are amazing,,, heavy, but I've hit curbs and potholes at 25mph, flattened both tires at once and still true. thanks for yor service.

  4. Bringing a lunch instead of buying it will not only save money it is usually a much healthier option also. A bag lunch can be made for a fraction of the cost of buying a meal and without having to leave for lunch you will also save money on gas. Estimated savings from sacking the sandwich is $1,300 per year.
